My Grandma's of New England Coffee Cake Review &GIVEAWAY!!
As a busy mom I am all about convenience, and these days it sometimes results in ordering the finer things online. I am not a baker by trade nor am I relative of one so if a recipe is easy and I have the ingredients on hand I may give it a try, otherwise I found it so much easier to let someone else whip me up a special one of a kind treat.
My Grandma's of New England is one of those one of a kind, go to, online or in store places and just by the name of it I living in California do not have the ability to run down the street to get one of theses beauties. Whether you are looking for a coffee cake(like I tried),cookie, congo bar or brownie as well as many gluten free products this company has something for nearly everyone. You can find them in participating stores or online either is easy to acquire a very rich, satisfying product in the home or office. **I received a product from said company for review purposes, all opinions are 100% my own, and receipt of products never guarantees a positive review, as I base the review on my and my families opinion**
About the company:
My Grandma's of New England® started an industry in 1990 with their original Cinnamon Walnut Coffee Cake - and with good reason. These decadent, dinner-worthy cakes are made from the finest and freshest ingredients available. The moistness and flavor of the cake are unmatched. All cakes are handmade and certified Kosher under Orthodox supervision.
I happily received a Large New England Blueberry Coffee Cake(no nuts)
and let me tell you this cake does NOT disappoint. The box arrived via Fed Ex within 3 days of shipment(company preferred) in an air tight sealed box with no noticeable openings due to plastic wrap. The box was very durable and the product came in box uncrushed,
just some minor cracking of product due to distance. The coffee cake was again wrapped in a plastic sealed bag to provide the freshest of product(shelf life depends on storage) and arrived on a piece of cardboard for ease of removal from packaging.
Once opened the Blueberry flavor was abundant and the kids could not wait to tear into this mouth watering cake.
It comes in the form of a bundt therefore its easy to slice, but if you prefer they can slice it for you. This cake was so moist it was as if I just made it myself I could have fooled everyone with this if they did not see that Fed Ex man :)
The cake is made with no walnuts and is kosher, it weighs a little more than 3 pounds and can feed about 16-20 people.
The best thing about online ordering is I can have almost anything delivered to my home whether its near me or not. Lets talk customer service, this company is very prompt in responding to an issue that might arise with your order. I had a minor issue, it was addressed and fixed within 24 hours and that makes for amazing customer service and creates that come again business for a company.
If you are looking for that unique Christmas or any occasion gift idea, this is perfect, the items come as described or you can purchase them in a tin. If you are lucky enough to be near a retailer selling you can pick them up in store or, like me, have it delivered. This is the perfect gift for anyone!
Go to Facebook and tell them I sent you or twitter.
