**Dei Fratelli..The Preferred Tomato Brand** Review and Giveaway

Ripened Recipe Contest

The Dei Fratelli company provided me with a nice selection of their products to sample in my home, I did take pictures along the way of the products and my kids reactions. The products I received were used in my recipes.
My daughter is the pickiest one in my whole family, therefore the Sloppy Joe

Dei Fratelli Specialty Productswas my first choice, not because she is choosy but because the other kids enjoy it. This
was one of the pictures that was deleted, but we made the sloppy joes on Onion buns, with cheese and that was it besides the sloppy joe mix..Her face told the whole story, she ate not 1 but 2. The taste was very mild but carried a nice pleasant tomato flavor.(gluten free)
The pasta sauce made an awesome casserole when topped with extra cheese.

The next meal we tried was the Pizza Sauce, I know who could go wrong with a pizza sauce :)
yeahh one picture that did not delete:) I made pizza biscuits..with high quality biscuits a spoon of pizza sauce on each one, a knife poke at the center of each biscuit so the sauce could cook in and not run off while rising, topped with a combo of cheddar and mozzerella cheese. They came out perfect, the sauce was truly not overpowering, it was all natural tomato flavoring and made with sea salt(like many of their products). For a canned tomato sauce it tastes as if I just made it:)
I made Chili with the cans of Diced Tomatoes and Crushed Tomatoes for an evening dinner in my crockpot.
This really isn't a great picture as unfortunately the good ones vanished..but
I soaked a 1lb bag of dry white beans overnite and then boiled for 3 hours next morning. I cut up some Carne Asada threw it in bottom of crockpot, next put in beans, the 2 cans of tomato products, onions, bell pepper, some chili powder, cumin, oregano(1tbsp +/-to taste) and one can of water. Set it for 8hours
Top with cheese and onions some sour cream and that dinner!!
