My family just loves a sit down buffet style restaurant, as the choices are endless. A few years back, our city happily acquired a HomeTown Buffet of our own and given any day of the week it is packed to the seams. The evening hours you are generally greeted with a long line out the door that seems endless and looking over the tables it is nearly impossible to find a seat for a larger family to sit BUT with patience you do get seated and everyone is ready to swarm the many buffet style serving tables.
Whether you are in the mood for Beef, chicken, or fish9baked or fried) its always available and fresh, though sometimes you do have to wait for the pans to be replaced when empty. If you are more of a salad person they have plenty for you including chilled plates for you pasta salads, lettuce salads or fruit salads. Side dishes are everything from macaroni to rice, veggies to French fries and not to forget bread. Lets not forget everyones favorite...DESSERT soft serve, cakes, cookies, many more items and now they include frozen fruit bars.
MOTHERS DAY is coming!!!!!!!!! May 12th!!
Are you diet conscious?? well they have options for you and your restrictive diets anywhere from low carb, low fat or diabetic options. Menus vary by location and some items are seasonal.
**I did receive complimentary dinner tickets for my review and it in no way changed my opinion of the restaurant**

**Spontaneous Happiness**Book Review
This book is aimed at improving your over all emotional well-being. It has a ton of tips and ideas to create a healthier lifestyle and mindset. As a person who has struggled with depression himself, he aims to raise awareness with his readers on tips and tricks he has learned for himself that created a better emotional well-being. He praises diet, exercise and lifestyle choices for his best way to heal the mind and body, he states that striving for an ultimately positive life style with no ups and downs is the true recipe to a destructive life. Without the ability to open your eyes and see the world around you and the realization that those around you have similar experiences you ultimately don't have the chance to learn from your experiences.
I felt this really hit the nail on the head for our well being :
I believe the incidence of true depression really has increased to some extent. I think this is largely due to a huge mismatch between the modern world and the world in which we, as human beings, evolved. We simply are not meant to live as many of us do today: sedentary, alone, staring at glowing screens that keep us on perpetual information overload, eating processed food, and sleep-deprived as artificial light extends the natural day well into the night. Living this way undermines physical and mental health in profound ways.
Many of us do spend a considerable amount of time in the same setting doing the same thing in life and I believe we all need variety and something to strive for.
"I" honestly do not go to the store and seek out self help books, not because I probably wouldn't benefit from them but because...hmm ..its just kind of hard to comprehend something I don't see that I NEED to change in my life.
I did like his idea of writing letters to people who have impacted you and the ability to show something heartfelt and meaning by reading the written aloud. It creates that personal touch and lets the person know how much they impacted you.
**Disclaimer**I received this book for review from The Book Connection Book Club and my review is mine and receiving this book didn't sway my opinion of it.**

**Oofos Footwear**Review
I had only heard of this product before having the chance to give them a try. I'm a very active mom and am always on the lookout for a product that is not only cute but comfy and both is a plus. I've tried many forms of sandals over the years and they always have the same outcome, wear until you can't wear anymore.
When looking at these shoes they were not only presentable, fashionably able to be paired with nearly any outfit that I'm out and about doing, and look soft and spongy.
I did request the mocha colored women's Oofos thong style,
as i'm not a clog type
person and felt the closed toe really wasn't in my comfort zone either(as I do enjoy painting my toes). When receiving my order it came in a white mailing envelope and didn't really know what was in the envelope till it was opened. It was so light it felt like a piece of clothing and would never guessed a pair of sandals. I pulled them out, tags attached, exact color I requested and style(always a plus in my book). The service was very fast as I ordered these last week and were very promptly delivered.
The shoes are made with Oofoam..what is that you ask??
The OOFOS brand experience is powered by the cutting-edge proprietary material called OOfoam. Our technology is a combination of compound and our patented footbed design. Our unique DNA provides an unmatched OOfeel that's energy absorbing.
In fact, test results show OOfoam is 37% more impact absorbing than any existing EVA, the most common material found in footwear.
OOfoam technology:
• Absorbs shock to lessen pain
• Reduces fatigue & restores vigor
• Delivers unparalleled cushioning to recharge & rejuvenate your feet.
So after the little lesson, let me tell you, I tried them on was a little skeptical with the lightweight, but were a perfect fit.
I have semi wide feet and the thong fit nicely, not snug and not floppy. The cushioning was very comfortable almost like walking on a sponge, was spongy not overly squishy so you didn't slide in them. The bottoms had the perfect amount of non slip and were easy to walk in the bathroom while giving kids a bath without slipping(IMO).
While this is the first pair i've owned, Im very impressed with this product, quality and construction.
If you are interested you can find them on FB or order your very own on their direct site.
**I did receive the product mentioned above to review from the company. My opinion is my own and may differ from other reviews.Nothing is being offered to me in form of compensation other than product. My review does contain links to their site but I am in no way affiliated with the company.** No giveaway is being offered at this time.

Ghost Leopard Book Tour
Live life beyond the
edge.
About the author:
Can be purchased thru Amazon HEREAbout the author:
Lars Guignard is a former film and television writer and graduate of both McGill University and the American Film Institute in Los Angeles. His work can be seen on television screens across the globe in such cult classics as Beastmaster and Big Wolf on Campus.
Lars's bestselling novel, Lethal Circuit, has been a TOP 100 Amazon Techno Thriller since its release. In addition to the Circuit series, Lars is the author of the children's adventure series, Zoe & Zak and the Ghost Leopard, and the paranormal mystery series, Brood.
Ever since attending high school in the Indian Himalayas, Lars has been an avid backpacker and traveler. He now makes his home in the Pacific Northwest where he is busy completing the second Zoe & Zak adventure for release in mid 2013.
Lars can be contacted at his website Author link.
My take: I read this book to myself and my teenage son(he is autistic) I thought the storyline was very easy to understand and the actions of the characters was well portrayed for a child to understand and comprehend. The wording is such that as you read you can totally see what the author is saying. I,as a parent, would buy the series for my children as it is geared for them.
Disclaimer: I received a free copy of this story through the Charisma Media Network for this post. All opinions are my own.
